Symptom: Focus Reports menu selection disappears from MediSoft menu.
Background: Focus Reports menu information is stored in the MediSoft section of the Windows registry. When MediSoft opens, the program reads its menu settings from the registry. Later, when MediSoft closes, it writes its menu settings to the registry. Running Focus Reports from the MediSoft menu (this is normally how the program is launched), menu settings saved to the registry by Focus Reports are overwritten by MediSoft when it closes.
Solution: Close MediSoft, then launch Focus Reports from the Start | Programs | Inborne Technology menu. Open the File menu, then select Set MediSoft Menu. Close Focus Reports, then reopen MediSoft and the Focus Reports menu changes will appear.
Alternate: Some network system administrators disable Windows registry editing. If registry editing is disabled on a workstation, Focus Reports cannot store its menu information. Enable registry editing and follow the above instructions to update the MediSoft menu.
Note: In Focus Reports version 1.32 and above a utility is included that will run once to update the MediSoft menu the next time the computer is started. This run once setting is made each time the Focus Reports report folders are changed.
