Print Engine will not save registration information
Symptom: Focus Reports Print Engine requires registration information to be entered every time the report explorer is launched.
Background: Focus Reports registration information is saved to the Windows registry. The print engine checks the Windows registry for registration information when it is launched. If no registration is found, the registration entry window displays and requires entry of registration information.
Solution: Some network system administrators disable Windows registry editing. If registry editing is disabled on a workstation, Focus Reports cannot store its registration information. Enable registry editing and enter the registration information to correct the problem. One way to do this is to give users administrator rights on the local computer. Changing this setting will resolve Focus Reports registration issues while retaining security on the network server.
