Q: How is it determined which fields have the drop down box "...." indicated on the search screen? Also, is there a way to customize the look of the search screen?
A: Focus Reports determines internally which fields will have a selection window available. The fields that are supported are the fields that ask for a table-driven code. These fields include patient chart number, provider number, procedure code, and others. An example of unsupported fields include the patient indicator and the account code field in the procedure table. Versions of Focus Reports Develper prior to 1.32 did not have a complete list of lookup codes -- Updating will correct this issue from earlier versions.
